When building for an independent school district, safety, security and time frame are all important factors – complicated by various considerations such as student capacity, crowd flow, durability of materials, ADA requirements and special height adjustments. Imperial only recently completed our first major K-12 project. While it is rare for a school district to select a general contractor without significant K-12 experience, Clyde CISD was impressed with our references from clients in higher education, and chose Imperial based on our best value approach. The result was an incredibly successful project we can’t wait to repeat.

Clyde CISD needed a new one-story, 73,500 square foot elementary school. The project had to be completed on an active campus around children and faculty, and the old building had to be demolished following the completion of the new one. Imperial’s extensive experience working around personnel and critical facilities gave us a comprehensive understanding of the best techniques for preserving the safety and security of the children. We completed the project safely and successfully, with rave reviews from the owner and architect.
