Imperial Construction was contracted for the new addition and renovation to the existing Franklin D. Roosevelt High School. New additions include a new secure entrance and secondary entry at the alumni plaza, administration addition, special ed classrooms, and CTE addition all housed within 3-stories, a new kitchen and cafeteria, new competition gymnasium to seat 800, new library/media center, new CTE food lab with an outdoor dining area and a band hall addition constructed within a tornado shelter to house the entire school campus. In addition, a new pedestrian bridge was built to adjoin the new 3-story building. New site-work includes segmental retaining walls, bus drop-off, fire lanes, sidewalks, storm sewer, sanitary sewer work, outdoor learning plaza, landscaping/irrigation, and the replacement of selective trees and shrubs.
